I knew Sunrise Japan Hospital from a recruitment website. It’s a new hospital that’s invested by Japanese Companies. And it’s an international hospital from a developing country. I felt that this hospital will provide good treatment and care by following the Japanese standard for Cambodian people. This hospital comes to help Cambodian people by reducing their expense when don’t go abroad and get treatment here. My feeling was glad if I can join with Sunrise Japan Hospital. So, I decided to apply for CV to Sunrise Japan Hospital, Phnom Penh in 2015. And I expected that I can get local training and can get to train in Japan to developing my ability to help Cambodian people. I knew Sunrise Japan Hospital from a recruitment website. So, I decided to apply for CV to Sunrise Japan Hospital, Phnom Penh in 2015. And I expected that I can get local training and can get to train in Japan to developing my ability to help Cambodian people.

After 3 times of interviews and examinations, I was passed to be a staff in Sunrise Japan Hospital, Phnom Penh. The hospital arranged a Japanese training course for 4 months in CJCC. Clinical training course in Japan, Kitahara International Hospital, had been done for the first 3 months after finishing the Japanese training course. For the first training 3 months in Japan, many new things that I learned such as new knowledge, skills, and Japan culture and environment. I finished the first 3 months of training and come back to Cambodia. Because of hospital needs leaders to play a role in each shift, I was selected to go to train in Japan again for leader class. It’s different from the first 3 months of training; I had to try to work hard and study hard. All mentors in Kitahara International Hospital, they always taught and shared knowledge to me. It’s hard in training but I grew up many things after finishing the second 3 months of training. First, I was a simple nurse. And after opening the hospital for several months, ER/ICU management promoted me to be deputy manager. Because of my potential and I have management and leadership skill, I was promoted to be an ER/ICU department manager. Many things have had developed and grown up during I am leading a department with deputy managers and consultants.

This year, I want ER/ICU staff to develop knowledge and skill by letting the education team to have frequently training for ER/ICU staff. Curriculum training and skill checklist have been made for all staff. The education team screens the knowledge and skill that all staff has not yet known and develops training courses. For this year, I only want all staff well understand about curriculum training and skill checklist and the education team knows what they will do for ER/ICU staff.

For next year, curriculum training will be fully applied for ER/ICU staff to develop their knowledge and skills. I hope all staff has enough ability to care patient and also can work independently in the Emergency room.
