Why do you choose Sunrise Japan hospital?
With adaptability to changes and willing to explore new challenges, the announcement of recruitment by Sunrise Japan Hospital caught my attention, especially in the health sector where I could see a huge opportunity to grow both the sector and my career. Through the research about Sunrise Japan Hospital, I was quite motivated to take up the challenges because of the standard of the hospital is very high which would be the only hospital in the capital city/ country where can be alternative to other hospitals in the neighboring countries and it will also help many Cambodian people whose time and resources are limited. Base on my previous experiences for working with the multi-cultural environment I was not expected so much of the changes especially with the similarity of Japanese cultures. It was indeed required some time to get to know about the hospital operations and knowledge in medical terminologies to perform my duties effectively.
I knew that as start-up business requires more matured management and leadership skill to handles wide range operational and many pressing challenges and time consuming in order to ensure proper operations process which was the actual case in opening Sunrise Japan Hospital which I knew I could contribute to and the same time it is an opportunity to discover many challenges where they became new knowledge and skills for my career.
What do you think about Sunrise Japan hospital?
"The shift from working with non-profit to profitable organizations defers in many ways. First, the working environment and foundation of operations are completely differencing.
However, it is my principle/approach that focusing on results is always important and showing the commitment to get things done is also key to success. In addition, I am confident that I would be able to influence my work ethic to more people and up to now, I am glad to have known many different professionals from different medical experts and areas of expertise, especially with and in-depth Japanese culture in terms of ways of work. Every strict rule to many Do’s and Don’ts and many challenges to medical terminologies as well as code of ethics, confidentiality, the most difficult started point was to see many sick patients and concerns of their family ‘s members and Code Blue for Emergency, etc.). I appreciate the existence of Sunrise Japan Hospital which is the very high quality of health treatments and is also a new adventure of my career.
At Sunrise Japan Hospital, besides bringing and providing a high standard of medical care from Japan to Cambodia, it creates a conducive working environment and culture for all staff. The company complies with Cambodian laws and regulations, respects Cambodian culture and provides social supports to all staff those include continuous education program, personal improvement plan, yearly allowance for study and career advancement- training, seminar, and internship in Japan, healthcare support- treatment to staff’s families and Nursery for staff’s children before they enter primary school).
With my firm belief to the high-quality treatments and professional ethic from difference experts in the hospital, I am motivated to be the brand ambassador and make the brand name of Sunrise Japan Hospital well known to many more Cambodian markets, especially for many organizations and health insurance companies. I aim to lead and manage the customer relations team in order to project trusted and positive experiences to all patients and prospective customers while positioning our hospital to become the most-friendliest and top-quality hospital in Cambodia. Secondly, I am excited about the expansion of new services in Gynecology and Maternity at the hospital. It will be a place for all in years to come, which is the ultimate goal I have been contemplating to see.
