Describe Career Background

In 2005, I won a scholarship to study in China and spent a total of 9 years there to get a master’s degree in Internal Medicine in Cardiology. After graduating from Central South University in 2014, my first work was at First Center Polyclinic in Phnom Penh as a general physician. Then, I joined with Sunrise Japan Hospital (SJH) as a medical doctor in 2015 and in the same year, I got the opportunity to be trained at Kitahara Hospital in Japan for 10 months. Up to now, I am working as deputy manager of the general internal medicine department of Sunrise Japan Hospital.
In 2016, I obtained a certificate of accomplishment from the JICA training program at Kitahara International Hospital (Japan). As I have a very strong interest and a couple years’ experience with Echocardiography, I took an online course of Echo Master Class Echocardiography and got a Diploma from Medical University of Vienna and the Austrian Society of Cardiology in 2017. Besides, I also received other diplomas from the above university in 2019 such as vascular lower extremity and abdominal ultrasound.

What do you think about Sunrise Japan hospital?

Firstly, I would say, it is a very clean hospital with advanced medical equipment. Moreover, it is the place where we can enhance our clinical knowledge. In my case, I have learned a lot from senior doctors through lecture and morning discussion. Furthermore, the staffs have a good spirit of teamwork, and always consider patients as their family members. What’s more, Sunrise Japan Hospital also provides benefits to all staff such as free medical service to own staff and some family members, a competitive salary, and reward to hard workers. Finally, Sunrise Japan Hospital follows Cambodian laws as a rule. Now my goal is to, improve and update knowledge to provide the best service and most appropriate medical treatment to every patient. To reach this goal I have to keep updating my clinical and technical skills.
